in .6 an L7 would sound worse than they do in 2.5 lolz

what would the outcome be if you put a sub that called for say 0.6 sealed and you placed it in a 1.6 sealed box what if any differences does this make? And if the result is a negative one should I use something to take up air volume in the box to get it closer?
