save some box volume.

you can get with 70-100^2 in of port.

by going with 150+ your just adding to your box volume and not gaining that much in the end.

so your looking to use a port that is 14.5 high max?

if so just do 14.5 x 6, which is 87^2 of port. thats plenty of port for that driver.

making the port area smaller while keeping the port length the same will lower the tuning...

yeah thats what i thought.

i ran it at around 50in^2 of port and never had a problem. now my new 3hp 15 i've got near 100in^2 of port and it huffs around 30hz. i'm gonna have to find some more room to get more port //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

but yeah i agree w/ george, 87 will be plenty.
