alright, i have some nice boxes i found for cheap, but they're a little oversized. the boxes are .76 cf, but the speaker (older round solo-baric 10s) calls for no more than .66 cf. should i fill the boxes to be slightly under, or just at .66 cf?

p.s. - i have been running these at medium volume levels (high occasionally //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ). will this/did this damage my speakers?

you should run them at the recommendations...they are recommended for a reason...BUT a little over wouldnt hurt that much if you watched your gains and used your head!

yes, kicker includes subwoofer displacement in their airspaces. what the **** is a polecat?

Polecat is a member on here who works for Kicker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Anyways, I'd make the box slightly larger than .66cuft so that it drops down to right around .66cuft once the sub is in the box.
