Sleepless Nights...

this is the problem with people nowa days, they dont get enough exercise and then wonder why they cant sleep at night... not tired? trying doing two hours of cardio then another two of various weights. trust me you will come home, shower, and fall asleep. If you are a true "insomniac" then yes, talk to your doctor about things like (ambien).

Who are you talking about? People nowadays or insomniacs?

I don't do 2 hours of cardio. But I do exercise.

And I'm 20 years old, maybe 5-10 pounds over weight, don't eat real unhealthy. Not normal for me not to sleep. At least that is my understanding.

It's midnight...

great...

Now all I have to do is play this stupid DC vs. Mortal Kombat game...

if your not doing 2 hours of cardio your not exercising

im not trying to be a ashole and i know im coming off as one, i just think you dont

properly exercise. If you really put some time in the gym i gurantee you would be sleeping like a baby

Although I did recently lose my job.

I think my 8-10 hours of framing houses and then working out beats your over all health in the gym for 2 hours. And who says there is a point at which 30 minutes doesn't equal exercising? As you, I am not trying to be a *** either.

Anyway...

I need fixed today....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I wouldn't take ambien. I was on it for concussion headaches in college and I woke up hanging by finger tips from the second story apartment window that I was sleeping in. I actually was sleep walking, opened the window, removed the screen and climbed out without waking up. I ended up just letting go. Landed on my feet and I think I bruised my heels or something because I could barely walk for like a week afterwards. It was pretty crazy.

so one day i had this OC laying around and i almost accidentally the whole thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I just noticed Unisom is not a dyphenhydramine.

What is the consensus on that stuff?

worked for a couple weeks for me. might help you out if this is just a temporary thing, but you will probably build up a tolerance fairly quickly, so you won't want to rely on it for the long term.

My wife has sleepless nights as well, but finds it helps to have the TV on, which pisses me off, being our electric bill is high as hell as is, but I want her to sleep well. She does take nyquil from time to time to help her and it does, same with me, but I do it only when I am sick with a cold. 10 minutes and I am out for a good 10 hours, lol!

I know what you go through as my wife is the same way, but most over the counter stuff works for her.

I'm what you could call a "severe insomniac", in fact I barely got to close my eyes last night, now I'm tired but if I go to sleep I'll just **** up my sleeping schedule even more.

Question though, why are you so set on trying to find/use really addictive opiates instead of bud? Although they make you feel great right up until you pass out, you really don't want to go down that road. Opiates an alcohol aren't good to use as "sleep aids" because you'll probably just end up becoming addicted to either. As long as you don't have a real speedy sativa, herb has been the most effective for me.

If you must stay over the counter, chill out, relax, and clear your mind. Then take some nyquil, take a nice long warm/hot shower, then jack it. You gotta be strong willed to stay up after that. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
