SLC's just arrived

just came in. Fedex tracking shows they arrived at my door minutes ago. Can't wait until 5:00. Woo! Thanks, 6spd.

They're going in my 06 Civic Sedan sometime this weekend hopefully. I'll have to wire up my amp because there's no sense in running them off the h/u.

Also, I'm making a CarDomain page with tutorials on speaker, amp, h/u installs, etc. Check this out if you get a second and let me know what you think of the layout. For the most part it's to help other 06 civic owners when doing installs in their vehicles. I'd appreciate any feedback, although I know there's not a lot there right now.

Awesome, I've got an 06 civic sedan as well (non-navi) and I'm looking at aftermarket audio options right now myself. I have the navi model double-din dash piece, a couple big metal brackets, a couple clips, the antenna adapter, and a single-din empty tray. Should be all the parts needed for the move to an aftermarket single-din HU, right?

Are these the regular models or the Kick versions. I am looking forward in hearing your opinion on them as I will be getting a set of the SLC kicks for myself.

yea, that should be it. Alot of people put their cd player on the bottom portion of the double din space with the pocket above it. However, I put mine underneath which took a little extra rigging. Let me know if you need any extra help, or join up with 8thcivic.com.

regular versions. I have a 12w7 so that more than covers my bass. I don't really need a whole lot from the doors however, I did want some good mid-bass, so I got the regulars. I hope I like 'em. It'll be at least Saturday before I get to really hear them amped.
