new components for a 300zx

Yo guys, I have a set of HD-62's in my cherokee right now..I'll be purchasing a 300zx within the next couple weeks, and I'm looking for an upgrade in speakers..something with a little more midbass response. The doors will be extremely deadened, what speaker would you guys recommend? They'll be run passive, and i'll be using my 8445. I don't want to spend more then $600 on a pair...I'm thinking maybe Z6's? hot thing right now is the rainbow germaniums, everyone that gets em loves so i would say go with them right now

Where & how are you HD-62s currently installed? Midbass shouldn't be a problem with them.

They're in the doors of my cherokee, tweeters are mounted a couple inches above pointed at about head level. The doors in cherokees are a ***** to deaden, but the midbass is still great. --and I know the hd-62's are very install-related drivers, that's not a problem.

for 600 you could get the Germanium 465 (is it under 600?) it has 2 woofers so it would have pretty good midbass response. Or theres just the regular 265. PM 6spdcoupe, he sells rainbow here.

Yea, I was checkin out the 265's, I think 2 6.5's per door would be a little overkill. Are they an overall better speaker the the HD-62's? And how do they do with power? I see they're rated at 150rms..but how much can you safely send them?
