Me and a buddy just installed a Skar 12 into my 2017 Terrain. Tuned it while parked using an extremely bass heavy song, got it absolutely slamming at 30 volume and I planned to keep that as my max. Then hopped on the road drove around listening to music and that same song made my Lc2i line output converter's maximized light come on almost at every hit. I noticed its worse the faster im driving. What could cause it to not clip when parked but clip at the same volume when driving?

An amplifier with an unregulated power supply will output more power when the alternator is spinning faster and outputting more voltage to it.

edit: unless it's a true class A amp, which is unlikely.
