So here is my second set of "new" fuse blocks, the replacement set Jim sent me from Sky High:

Called Jim right away again, said new blocks are being shipped tonight. I am now getting ring terminal style blocks.

Jim is a dealer, he doesn't own Sky High. But yes, mylows10 Jim. I ordered through him. There is solder on the inside of them, and some marks where you can see some more was ground off.

This is exactly why you dont support these fly by night cookie cutter companies. 99% of them dont do any QC and just bandwagon off of someone elses stuff. I wouldnt touch anything by IAD, AQ, AB, Skar, etc. for this reason.

They are all rip off cookie cutter's. If you think these are some of the best names out there you are sadly mistaken. The only reason they survived is because of nut huggers.

He has a good point. Go compare Maxxsonics, AB, and AQ's amp guts. Then compare anything of Skar's to Sundown. I'm not aware of IAD ripping off other designs though (may have missed it, though)

There's very few times that a "clone" performs as well as the original. A few companies have bought old designs from other companies and pulled it off, but most of them fail with the QC.

AQ has a pretty good backing. They basically use old DD tech, nothing wrong with that considering DD has been around for a very long time with constant success.
