Skipping Headunit

Well, the bass in my car shakes the hell out of my CD player and makes the CD skip. It is definetely a CD skipping problem because I do NOT have this problem when I use my iPod.

What do you guys recommend to absorb some of the bass so it doesnt effect the headunit and helps prevent skipping? (Foam? Rubber Washers?)

Well my Pioneer use to skip really bad when I had my 2 15's and all I did was loosen the screws holding it in a little and put some support on the back of the deck and that basically fixed it. My current setup isn't anywhere near as loud but I did the same thing when I installed my panasonic flip out and it hasn't skipped a single time.
