EVERYONE here has talked about how great the AP mini amps are, hes just one of those certain brand haters because he suffers from tiny **** syndrome.Get the dual 2 VVX, and wire the AP mini at one ohm. If youre concerned with volt drop watch the gain. Anyone with a trained ear can set a gain properly.

Yes you can. That mini amp should be about perfect for that. Around that rms range is the limits of it's ability of clean power.

As much as I'd like to wire it down to 1 ohm, set the gain really low, i still won't know how much RMS i'd be putting out, it could be more than 750 watts, and I wouldn't find out till my alt died! I think i'll play it safer, unless someone can show me the watts thats goin thru with the stipulations using a voltage meter! But if not I think i'll play it safe and get the dual 4 ohm, wire it down to 2 ohms and be set KNOWING my alternator could handle the load. Plus I mean how much louder would it be from 600-750 watts? I would think even with 600 watts going to it, it will fullfill my loudness 115-135 dB expectation right?

these 2 are your best option imho extremely small and much better build quality the the audiopipe and with the money you save you can get a much better amp in the long run. also very effecient, id get the massiv enumber one because running at 2 ohms will be much nicer on your electrical

What I would do in your case is, with my 105a alt 1000watts is nothing (don't have big 3, only 4gauge) Get all the equipment to be able to play 1ohm 1k watts, set it up with a DMM then maybe back it off a little so your not doing the full 1k watts, do a big 3 upgrade and see where your at.

then for 120 you can get pro-rabbit on here to build you a much nicer box then skar for this sub

Hahah, Either way those sold. I would definitely do 2 12' Skar's but that might be too loud. I want to keep my hearing. Thats why I'ma do the single 15' Skar. Anybody have any thoughts on that sub? And it required 1.5CU sealed, and I'm definitely not going to do sealed with just 1 15' sub, I want SPL too.
