No one is saying the products suck, but if you have a choice, why support someone who has a shady past(and seemingly present with all the b-stock issues)? There's just as good for stuff for the same price...in car audio we have a ton of choices nowadays for basic entry level to mid level stuff, and it's all about the same price.Hate or love the man all you want but no one can deny the products are solid...
In my situation no one offers a product as solid as Skar and for as cheap... When I can get a sa-10 or like sub for around the 100 buck mark then maybe I would try something else but that day want come....No one is saying the products suck, but if you have a choice, why support someone who has a shady past(and seemingly present with all the b-stock issues)? Depends on who you buy from.. All i will say. Some dealers are cheaper then others. Its the way the wrld wrks. Money talks...How much are the 10's?
Yep and you can get Kevin to undercut his dealers for an even better price, apparently. Awesome business model.Depends on who you buy from.. All i will say. Some dealers are cheaper then others. Its the way the wrld wrks. Money talks...
Mehhh 99% of dealers will cut must anyone a deal when buying multi items.... Loyality does pay off sometimes.. I see nothing wrong with that business practice..Yep and you can get Kevin to undercut his dealers for an even better price, apparently. Awesome business model.
According to WooferWarehouse.com the vvx-10 is $180. Right around the same price as an SA.
I'll take the SA.
You think undercutting your dealers is an acceptable business practice?Mehhh 99% of dealers will cut must anyone a deal when buying multi items.... Loyality does pay off sometimes.. I see nothing wrong with that business practice..
I see it as real world business... No different then going to say Ford Dealership to buy f-150 and they say 22k and u go to another dealer and for the same truck he says I can beat 22k and says 20k. I dnt see whats wrong with that. So I guess Ford should cancel any and all rebates and repeat buyers dicsounts cause its just shady business cmon...... This is how the world wrks. My car mech charges me less for parts and labor then he does Joe over here cause I keep bringing my business back to him..... He also is shady...You think undercutting your dealers is an acceptable business practice?
Guy contacts a dealer for pricing on a Skar product. Same guy contacts Kevin. Kevin says, "I can get under his price for you." Guy feels special. Orders from Kevin. Dealer follows up with guy about said product. Guy says he bought from Kevin because it was cheaper. Dealer is like WTF?
No more dealers.
Now, because no dealers want to carry his product, Kevin has to peddle all his crap himself. QC goes out the window. Used and 'B' stock gets sent out instead of new 'A' stock. Orders are misplaced. People aren't happy. Shit hits the fan... oh wait... this is already happening.
Only difference is, you are not going directly to Ford who is undercutting their dealers.I see it as real world business...
