And he didn't have legal right to use sundowns parts. Some companies have their stuff sealed with a patent. Sundown being one of those...

You do understand that once your designs leave U.S. waters, no fu*ks are given about patents right? Anyone can go to any overseas build house and say they want what someone else is already selling, just slap the different logo on. The issue only comes into play when the items are sold here in the U.S. The way I understand is that the problems with doing something about it, is when they cannot enforce any actions on a factory that does not fall under U.S. territory. There are a number of far east factories that are very talented at reverse engineering.

Uhhmmmm....NOT! I am still sitting here with 2 subs that I have absolutely no idea whether they are A-stock used (as advertised), B-stock used, or B-stock "new"...... and I haven't had so much as an email from anyone representing Skar Audio.

If you had ur facts str8--- or if they were as elevated as ur immaturity level--- we might all see this thread actually die...

PS: If you think that this thread hasn't or won't hurt business with Skar , then I can assure you that there are at least 3 locals who would have bought based solely upon my recommendation....which, after my recent experience with the subs I bought+reading this thread since day 1, they are now running Sundowns

Also, I don't get how you've professed that you aren't associated with them....and then turn right around and use terms like "our" and "us"
