Im actually in a Bus law class at school right now and we were talking about something similar to this. People are doing is accusing skar of shady practices (I havnt bought anything skar so I dont know for sure) and are using their rights to express there feelings about it. Unless skar can prove all of your accusations are untrue then he has no chance in court. This i believe would tie into this whole "skam" logo you guys put together. Also no one here owns a business that is trying to make false accusations about skar to gain money or what have you. You are aloud to do what ever you want to logos trade marked or not if you are simply a consumer with an opinion as long as it is not used for any business gains for another company. You see crap like this all the time. People are always tearing down company logos and configuring them to say whatever. Im no attorney, but this is my basic understanding.

A lot of you guys liked and thanked this post. Question though. Do you really want to be taking advice from a guy supposedly in a law class that doesn't know the difference between "aloud" and "allowed"?

LOL, you have absolutely no clue what your talking about. On a conservative scale, I'd say 60% of your rambling here is false! ISP's can be tracked without warrents. It takes minutes, not months (using goob's aid it would be free and not a single second of his own time), and if he files a lawsuit within Florida he has no travel costs.. ALSO he can have a claused placed into a lawsuit (similar to divorces, civil suits, etc. etc.) where the "accused" is liable for his lawyer fees as well. I like your law degree but you need to keep studying pal.

I'm not a lawyer, and yes you can track the ip to the isp easy.. But on getting the Actual information will take months on something like this. And if he has Goobs help if there is anything in the signup that states no information is to be giving out he can be sued and so could Kevin. And as far as the Lawsuite being in that state thats all fine and dandy, but they can set a junction to make him travel depending on the State they Live in. and the people he would be sueing would never be able to pay any of them fee's or anything else.

We have did this 3 times on law suites already " junction as to not travel to said state "

give me a break, it was like 1 in the morning. And I never said I was an expert at law. I was just putting in my 2 cents because the topic was fresh in my mind. Im actually a business major, I really don't like law, its boring as hell. This is just a required class that I have to take. So get off my balls, please.

Do you have an estimate of the number of people with a legit claim? 10? 20? So he sends out a few thousand in free merchandise. It's not like you can go after him for any financial loss beyond what you paid for the product. And believe me, you'd have to prove that the product was defective when recieved to even get that...
I don't know why you guys are on such a witch hunt over this. I've seen maybe 5 people who have had legit bad business with Kevin. If those 5 want to try to put together a class action suit I wish them the best of luck on finding a lawyer to handle it.

If his sales are down say... 40,000.00 this month... I'd bust your ***** if I was in his position.

He has had multiple business names. Skar isnt the first or even second.

so it would seem to me that kevin has made every attempt to resolve this on going questionable issue. i personally wonder about a person that can hold a grudge this long and this intense. seriously, i dont think skar is going any where any time soon. id say its a growing company. holding on to this much anger and anamosity is really not good for you and your therapist would advise you to let it go, but then again youd probly start a thread bash about him/her. best of luck to you and hope you find away to let it go someday before you get dragged into court and both you and skar waste money in the legal system that could have been spent on some ****** car audio. imho.
