Skar Audio crap

It seems like the constant people who bash Skar Audio all of a sudden got law degree's -.-

I sent this message to a few people to let them know that it is defamatory, and a polite notice to remove the logo is all that was asked, as we do own the trademark on Skar Audio. Also - in reference to the other comparisons made, it is usually industry specific for a trade mark, just a heads up. If users continue to use the logo in a inappropriate way without our consent we will deal with each individual circumstance. It is worth the time and the effort as we are here to stay for the long run, and our customers have said time and time again that they are happy with us - it is just the same 4-5 people in this Thunderdome that feel the need to spend all day bashing on us.

It is an open forum sure, but the use of our logo is what the topic is about. If you have a problem about Skar, and wish to spend all day bashing us, that is one thing - but we will not allow the use of our logo in a defamatory way. I really wish a few of you guys that share so much hate towards me or Skar would simply come visit me in Florida and really see what we are all about down here. I think I might be able to change a few of your views on myself and the company in a positive manner.

I never heard of skar until the discrepancy thread. I would never ever try your product because of it. Just having the allegations alone brought up against you is enough to scare me off. Even if they aren't true.

Plus I don't like stuff made in china. And I don't want to pay the brand new price for something that looks used. (from what I have read around)

This day in age with technology makes things easy. It would simply be a lot easier for those users to delete the logo's they are using inappropriately but we will see how they choose to act.

What is so hard about ignoring it and moving on? Jacob Fuller does it and you've taken an idea or 10 from him in the past.

I guess if the individuals in question have otherwise identified themselves on this or other sites. Probably why I don't use my real name, address, geographical location or otherwise identify myself on this or any other site. If all you have is an IP address, it's going to be next to impossible. That will only get you as close as their ISP. You won't be able to get any further without a court order. Now, if they have been stupid enough to identify themselves, well, then you have something.

For the record, I have no idea who you are and I have never purchased from your company. Honestly, I really don't give a shit one way or the other. I mean, this sounds like the ANT rant all over again.

Good luck with everything. If I were you, I'd let this all settle down and just go out and prove your critics wrong. Just sayin'.
