How about just making a SQ specific section and keep the SPL/Comp..

i think adding a "project log" forum would make life eaiser. and letting users add a 'note' to the title that is editable to post in an easy fashion the dates its updated, and let the users edit all posts from all previous dates so that you can add links to the 'update pages' on the first page.

otherwise i think the forum is broken up quite well.

and a "visitor rating" for the project thread would be nice too.

Yeah, on the site I visit for my 300ZX (http://www.twinturbo.net), they do that. It helps a lot and you can use small comments to get your general point across, and read them all at once.

As a newb I can say that a project log forum would very informative and probably encourage more of us less experienced people to try some more DIY stuff. One other thing I'm suprised at; nobody mentioned banning profilepower in 2 pages of a Site Suggestions thread?
