Single Treo SSi 10 ported or two Sealed Treo TSX 12's

Need some opinions if possible. I was originally planning a single 12" set up for my silverado ex cab but came across a few deals. If I go with a single sub I would need a single 4ohm or dual two as my amp runs 800wrms @ 4ohms. The SSi is only a 10" dual 2ohm and my amp would power it pretty good (its a cadence z9000) I have a box right now built for under the seat that is 2.2cuft without any ports added in yet. I had intended on porting it and going with one 12" sub but would this box be to big for the 10" SSi? Another option is to go with two TSX 12's that are dual 4ohms and run them in the current box sealed which should give them the required airspace needed for a sealed enclosure. I listen to rap and rock/metal mostly but only turn the system on for the rap and certain metal songs that have a nice kick to them.

i loved my treo ssi and i have it sealed and it still gets loud and low....thats a hard choice but i stay take the ssi and port it

Treo's require minimal airspace regardless of sealed or ported. The SSi's are some dam good subs. I ran a SSI 15 and am now running TSX 12(s). The ssi is a better sub, and honestly, I believe one 10 ported will get pretty **** loud and still deliver great SQ. Also, dont believe the 750rms rating. I had my SSI on 1200 daily and it laughed at me

what did you do, wire for 4ohm off the AP3k? I imagine its pretty loud

The SSi looks like the right choice but my concern is box size as I already have a box built for under my rear bench seat. After port area and driver displacement I want to make sure it will still be ok and not cause concern.

I never used a tsx, but I have used ssi's many times depending on what your paying for them they are tough to beat
