Single sub to match amp

Im looking for some suggestions on a single sub to match my Roclford Fosgate P550.2 amp. The amps wattage is 550x1 @ 4 ohms.

$200. I dont know the exact deminsions i have to work with right off hand but it will be going into the trunk of an '02 Impala if that helps.

I would find a dual 4 15 thats in your price range wire it down to 2 ohms and you should be fine. You should be able to find one for that price

Would i be able to so this with my amp? The amp is a 2 channel amp, and it get 550 watts when the amp is wired to 4 ohms in mono mode. Can I put a 2 ohm load on my amp in mono mode or would that just fry my amp?

RE Audio SE15 D2 should match your amp very well especially if you have the space

no dont bridge it to 2 ohms. get a dual 2 ohm sub or single 4 ohm.
