Just wondering what everyone is hitting with a single sub setup.. i did a 143.6 in a grand am with a re sx12 and a jl 1000/1 ... weak, i know

it was on an ac, but it was only .5 off the termlab from what i hear cuz a guy with 2 18 solo x s in a wall in a explorer did a 156.x , and said it was only .5 off a Tl mic.... funny thing is tho my 12w7 not only was louder to the ear @ a lower tone, it was way more efficient ... shocking ..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

i wish i coulda tested my dub 7 on the mic b4 my car got totaled:crying: , but i cant believe the performance of the sx in a trunk car with just a basic slot port , daily box... i think with some time i could have easily did a 145

Hell I could of told you that about your JL W7! I dont even own one,lol! But which a/c was it? If it was the 190 it usually is off around 2 to 4 dbs. But I havent used one in a while. Buddy has the new tl program. So just use that.

Its not that the AC 190 is off 2-3 DBs its that its not consistant, you can score a 140.xx and then test imediatly aftewards and hit a 142.xx and then go back to a 140.xx

yea at a show last year in southern wisconsin i did a 144.6 with my w7 @ 48 hz... not to bad at all imo, for a trunk car and a w7 at that.. TL btw.. that box took a lil more time to design.. and design... and again lol

I know it is inconsistent, but I have always hit between 2 to 4 dbs lower from the tl when I was doing both those mics in my car last year for shits and giggles.

142.4 with a 15sx, ab100.1 and 3.5 cubes tuned to 35 hz in the trunk of a 2001 626

144.8dB with one 15" L7 in a 4.5ft^3 ported box tuned to 35hz.. Measurement was taken in the kick with the splmeter.com meter ...Hit a 143 on the dash.. This was with a 50hz test tone.
