Why would you go with Solo X if your wanting SQ?

Your all across the board with your thinking Q,Type X, Solo X....what are your trying to accomplish with this setup?

And no i wouldnt but that Alpine for $300...you could get something alot better on here for that amount.

For the size and versatility (same power across different Ohms loads), that PDX amp for $300 is a killer deal.

alex - if you go with the 12" Type X sub, put it in about a 1.0 to 1.25cf sealed enclosure, as they generally provide the best performance that way.

The 1243d is the 2007 model, the 1242d is the previous model.

I was gone for alittle while but now I'm back.....I was going SPL the the solo x since I could get the 07 cheap,but then It started getting expensive because of the amp......the Fi Q came up when the solo x idea was scrapped,but now I'm going SQ since I got the type-x so cheap......now I'm where I want two type-x's for my new setup and selling my old stuff that I had for my kicker setup.....hope that clears things up a bit....
