Single Sub = Port or 2 Sealed? Diamond D6

Opinions please.

I was going to get 2 Diamond D6 Subs with 2 Diamond D5600 amps (I already have one sub and amp)

Now, For what I am doing I only have physical room for one D6 in a ported box or 2 D6's in a sealed enclosure. Both getting their recommended amount of air.

What do you think would sound best and get the most bass? Doing just 1 in a ported (dual ported actually) will save me about $400 and I have more to spend on sound deadening.

I think those D6's sound pretty darn good ported in a well built enclosure. If i was you, i'd just stick with one and port it. Then deaden the shit out of your car, and i think you'll be satisfied. I used to have a Diamond M6 12" ported, and it got pretty **** loud and sounded good doing it.

Good to hear. Im going from 2 infinity ref 12's that got fed 200w each. So anything is better. But I figure I save $400ish, life will be better.

1 should sound great, can you point me in the direction of a link that shows how to build vented boxes? Im still reading a lot on it, (8 sites still to read) but anyone in particular you found usefull?

I keep reading tutorials on sounddomain. I cannot understand them too well. Im trying to learn. Anyone have a clue on the size port size,, etc, on a 2 rectangle ported box.
