I put this together with some stuff I already had and bought a few things on here.

Soundsplinter 15" RL-p DVC4 (thanks Colt4969!)

4 cubic foot box tuned to 28hz (thanks Viveet!)

Kicker ZX 750.1 (750 at 2 ohm) (thanks Big Bear!)

Big 3 Welding wire under the hood and single run of 0/1 gauge under the hood.

Heres a few quick pics I took today, sorry didnt have time to clean up the car,it rains almost everyday here.

And a couple of vids, didnt turn out like I liked, but sounds fine to me.

Spent just over $300 on everything, so for a temp build I say it worked out well.

how old is that rl-p?

almost same enclosure i have mine in. but i really dont listen to rap though. only when showin off haha but hows it sound with the 28hz tune? im thinking of tuning at 25 for the next box!

This enclosure really suprised me. I expected the lows to be there, but what really suprised me is the upper end, its stronger than I thought it was going to be. Why tuned so low? 28hz works really well for me, and I listen to alot of 80s and 90s music, esp R&B.

I listen to rap, but really just for showing off purposes, lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

tez looks good. RL-P's worked best at 32Hz for the stuff we listen to //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

good stuff man! Wish I could hear it!!!!!

I have to try that sometime, I think the RL-ps going in the house pretty soon. I would be mainly using it for music, do you think that 28hz tune would work ok?

If not, Ill prob just get off my lazy ass and build a simple sealed box for it.

Honestly, im ready for a upgrade, to something similar in your sig //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

looks sweet dude, i really like the RLP's, even my 18" i had tuned to 30hz really suprised me in the upper 40's and 50hz range. they really dont lack anything IMO

good job on the build

Thanks for the feedback guys, and Mobeious, I believe so. I really didnt notice it until I had installed the sub.

Didnt bother me much, since I almost never show off the box (have to be a little discrete with your setup sometimes around here).

Currently, its all pulled out, Kicker amp got sold and trying to get my front stage together again. Looking to upgrade to something with a lil more "kick" to it, but loved this setup and im prob going to reinstall it until im ready to take that next step.
