Thinking of just running one MAX this time around as that is pretty much what I have been doing for the past month and have had my other one sitting in my house. Thinking of switching to ported though from sealed in order to gain a bit more output. Only concern is that I listen to primarily extremely fast heavy metal styles that have a quick bass drum popping at all times. I would like to have a box that can stay up with this. The dual 12 ported box I built sounds like poo. I lost all snappiness, it became very peaky and it completely muddied the bass. rap sounded good though!
Figured this time around I would get some advice from teh pro's, maybe have someone design me a box since apparently I messed up my previous ported box design.
ID recommends either 2.0 at 32 hz or 2.55 at 28 hz. Which do you guys think would be better? Power not an issue nor is space.
