Single din DVD head unit questions

Ok, I know you guys said Boss is major junk, but I found the Boss BV9982I DVD Head Unit for about $110 with warrenty. I read a ton and watch quite a few video reviews about this unit and even for very critical reviewers if gear. This passes their checks and get a recommendation for that price point.

Im just curious as to if the bass will mess this thing up? I remember HUs that would skip when bass would drop... Just curious is tech is pass that issue... I probably wouldn't even use the screen too offen but it would be nice to have if after I get all the stuff I "need" for all the gear I bought... But I the cheaper DVD unit tech isn't up to par I'll just avoid complete in exchange for a portable unit..

Also I Love my 16 Ton hydraulic crimpers that came today they are awesome.
