Thanks for all the input, although I got the answers I thought I'd get. Not bad, just what I expected. Not sure what I am going to do, I'm leaning twords a nice pair of 8"s in a larger sealed box. maybe a pair of tens if they fit.

My bro in law has a '93 Ranger reg cab....for the longest, he's been running 2 sealed 8's (Memphis MClass) which get very loud in that small truck off a small Memphis amp....We picked up a pair of Assassin 10s last year but haven't had time to do any installation yet....

From what I measured, you could do 2 10s sealed but it would be very tight. In our application, I removed the center armrest and was going to fire one sub where the armrest was mounted (removing it gives a little excursion room) and one behind the passenger seat.

Basically, 2 8" subs sealed or ported, one 10" ported or 2 tiny sealed box 10s...

i'd say get some mean *** 8's and port tham. you can get 8"s decently loud. plus it would surpise the shit out of everyone too!!

yeah, I get what yall are saying, not much space. I guess the conclusion I am getting is two 8"s ported. From RE box calculator I can't get a port tuning below like 50hz. I would like to get maybe a 35hz tuning. The best part of the one 10" sealed is I wouldn't have to worry about all of this.

The good thing about that small of a space, is it cant be all that hard to get them loud. Am I right?

I found the guy with the quad 8"s on ROE, pretty cool IMO! If he can get 4 8"s behind his seat, there shouldn't be a problem with getting 2 8"s behind mine.
