Single Cab Question?

How important do you think rear fill speakers are in a single cab truck? Would they really make much of a difference? I'm running 300 rms to my RF 6.5 Comps with the tweeters on axis. I never have had rear speakers other than subs......am I missing out on a more enhanced listening experience?

Comments and suggestions are very welcome, I'm always open to learn more!!!

Thanks,

J

depends on who you ask, there are 2 thoughts on this subject. I bought rears for my car cause they were cheap just to see and I've tried them hooked up and unhooked and i could not tell much difference. In a single cab truck you may be able to because they are closer to you though.

speakers by your ear are a bad idea if you like music to sound the way it is supposed to or you care about your hearing.

i would never put rears in a single cab truck, especially by an ear.

properly aimed tweeters will take care of highs and it won't sound like the source is by your feet.

how you are right now is good. if you want to be better, consider improving the speaker installation.
