Single 15, 12 or 2 10's?

80 amp alt. I want to switch subs because I can't put a OA15 in a good box around 3.4cubes, but I can do a 3 cubes box and it looks like a DC level 2/3 do fine in 3 cubes, or atleast better than a OA15 in 3 cubes..All cubes are after sub and port displacment BTW

Plus, I don't NEED to get louder, if I kept my same setup i'd be just fine. I don't need 1300 watts of loudness, I'm just fine with 700 watts of dB. And apparently efficiency and SQ are better at a higher ohm load.

15" AA SMD would work well in the box, DDZ9915 would be even better.

Max dimensions I can do for a box is 32x16x18. Whatever that is in cubic feet before displacment. My goal is to get a sub that will be happy in a box that big after the displacment of the sub and port. Somebody should first calculate how many cubes a box with those dimensions be before sub displacment.

Since we are talking about different sub options, my budget is no more than $210. I don't think more money is really justified for what I need.

I can't find prices for that DDA Sub, looks intriguing. As for the AA SMD, thats WAYYY outside my budget AND needs!

It was a joke cause the DDZ line of subwoofers are like 2,000$ each haha

Pshhh. Lets not joke around people, I'm tryna find a good sub I can keep happy in a good box! So far I'm still leaning towards a DC level 2 15 D4 in 3ish cubes after total displacment!
