Single 12 or 15, 1400w rms to play with, $200 budget.....what's your pick?

Trying to get back into daily bumping again after taking a few years off. I've got a nice little 1400w to work with...was thinking a nice 12 or 15 in a low tuned (30hz ish) box. I don't necessarily need to go lower than 30hz for music, and I'd like flat but authoritative response on up.

I've had some nice 3k-4k loud ported setups that had their noticeable peaks. I'd like to try something different this time around, a little more musical I guess. Smaller box preferred, but not strictly necessary.

i had a reconed HDC3. softer spiders and longer flatwound coil. much better on 1500 for daily. 130 bucks shiped

not fully SQ brands. they can sound good but not in the realm of musical accuracy, flat response(without special box designs) and transparency as the dayton ultimax

yeah dayton have very loyal followers.. that sub looks very much like my old elemental designs..

that would have been perfect if it were a dual 2. sounds like a lot of fun.

the dayton crossed my mind, will look into it.

Its d1. 1ohm nominal. Perfect for most amps after rise about 1ohm to 3 ohm.
