Single 10" D2 Mach5 IXL-10 v2 SL....what amp?

Buddy had limited room and this sub seemed to fit spacing/budget issues.

Problem is now, there is a limited selection of amps that put out around 800rms @ 1ohm.

He's looking for something that can be had for under $200 and allow his sub to reach its potential.

I've thought about Diamond D3 600.1? Or Audiopipe/Crunch 1000w amps?

He's pretty firm on budget, so no top of the line equipment.
