Single 10 or 12 in sealed enclosure

I'm looking to get a single 10 or 12 in a sealed enclosure, but I am unable to decide what to get. I have a JBL amp that will (claims) to put out 300W RMS @ 4 Ohms.

I listen mostly to rock and I want them to complement my components on the low end. I havehave no desire to rock the car next to me, wake up the neighborhood, or provide the backseat passengers with a massage. Most of teh time I won't even have system high enough to hear outside the car with the windows up.

What I have looked at are the Arc Audio Arc, Image Dynamics ID and IDQ, and Elemental Designs products.

One concern I do have is enclosure requirements which is why I'm going the sealed route. I don't want the sub to take up a large portion of my trunk.

i have a id10v3 in a .75 sealed enclosure with 350wrms and it sounds fantastic and it can get loud(to me)although people have told me to try a 1.5 @32 ported enclosure for it.

nah the sq is not decent it is great
And the idq is greater. I'm running a single idq10 v3 in a .8 sealed enclosure on 400watts, and it's phenominal. It gets really low and articulate at high volumes, but its not going to blow windows out. It's more SQL though than the older versions due to its increased xmax I presume. It sounds like you are after more sq than sp, and the new idq10 would fill that position quite well. Two ID10v3's wouldn't disappoint either. The eD subs in the 10 range I haven't heard, but the ID/Q sound better than some of their 12's I have heard. I have yet to hear some arc subs.
