.....my RE 35.1 has 8 gauge inputs.....u really dont kno ur **** huh
Didn't you classify it as having 4 gauge inputs?

Well, maybe you shouldnt post then. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'm thinking about it haha. I wish I did a little research and didn't make that stupid comment at the end of my original post.

Can anyone prove it does rated cleanly?
I have never seen a bona fide test of the real power output or THD #'s of any audiopipe amplifier...

I personally find it pretty hard to believe any amp that can be had for $140 will put out 1.5kW of power... but I've never tested one...

With that said 4awg power inputs does seem small to me for an amp rated for that kind of power... IIRC my visonik 900XD (which most regard as a 1500 watt 'budget amp') has 1/0 inputs and would most likely walk all over an AP1500...

Not really. Most 4 gauge can handle 120-150a of current. That's about how much current an amp like that draws. On top of that it's a really short run.

According to some guys at Termpro (this is back in 2008) the AP30001D with the white finish did 2637 watts with 12.2v. Started out at a 1 ohm nominal load but he wasn't sure what his impedance rise was.

Oh and part of the reason why the AP amps are cheap is because of mass production.

Wow yet another 'apparent power' test, into untold loads by some guys on termpro!... totally sounds legit to me...

It seems to me the reason they are so cheap is because of the cheap surface mount components they use.... (you can call out dbr for that one)

mmmmkay then PM this guy regarding his test, he said he did 1868 watts @ 4.5 ohm @ 11.8v.

http://www.caraudio.com/forums/amplifiers/359830-tested-audiopipe-ap30001d.html

This youtuber did 2560 watts @ 3.7ohm with 12.5v

I would do a test on mine but I don't have all the DMMs to do so. I'd imagine the figure will go up if you gave it 16v. All I'm saying is you can't buy more power at the same price and actual user's complaints are few and far in between.

^ I don't even need to click on those links to tell you that it's all BS... every retard with a clamp meter thinks that they can measure amp power, and they can't because they don't know WTF they are doing... try again...
