hell my discus says it takes 2 gauge, but i had to trim a little on 4 gauge just to make it fit. also the ap does rated

my mmats rated at 4k at 1ohm has 4 gauge power and ground

(granted there are 2 of them)

and the aps ore ok, if you just need power. if you want clean. look somewhere else.

Hmmm...most 1-1.5k amps i have owned have 4 gauge power inputs..

and the ap is a beast in the price range, and the dirty watt myth is alive and well I see

basically what happens is..

someone with a high post count buys a cheap amp.

cheap amp does rated or close to rated power.

Poster with high post count praises the amp/sub/mid/wire/etc

EVERYONE must go buy it because the product was blessed by someone with a high post count.

Im sure we have all ran cheap amps and been surprised by the results.

never had on the scope, but just to the ear they dont sound as good, in a direct swap with a mb quart DSC 1500.1 from the ap1500.1 the was a big difference in favor of the DSC. all settings were the same. 6.5v preouts with the gains off.

and as far as the mid an high amp. im really not a fan. the settings are nice but the output just leaves some things to be desired.
