I am probably just going to buy the same setup I had which was an alpine mrx m240 powering a pair of 12" type r's...the latest model. I was also thinking of getting an alpine mrx m110 to power 1 15" rockford fosgate T1 . Opinions please

I guess it just depends on if you want to change it up or not and how happy you were with the R's. I'd go with the 2 12's and get something maybe different than the Type R's. Or maybe 3 10's. All take about the same amount of room... What your goal? SPL or SQ?

I really like the new type r's ....they sound really good to my taste. I guess I was just seeing if I could get the single 15 to hit as hard as the R's did.

I think it would be hard to be as loud just from cone area alone. I'm sure there are 15's that could do it but it would get pretty pricey I'm guessing. And why does everyone hate on RF so much? I've seen a T1 15 in action. Got loud and sounded good doing it.

No hate, but for a similar price an Obsidian 15, HDC3 15, or a few others would outdo a T1.
