Simple Wiring Question...

I had my B12 wired to 4 ohms, parallel or in series which ever, and I was told at a comp. that if I connect all of my positives together and put them in the positive terminal, then connect all of my negatives together and put them in the negative terminal that I would have a 1 ohm load. I have 2 positives and 2 negatives running out of my box..

Any help would be appreciated...

Well, B12 is dual 2 ohm coils. If you have it wired to 4 ohms, you have it in series. Wiring all the +'s together and all the -'s together is parallel and a 1 ohm load, so yes.

Well I have been misinforming everyone then. I had my MTX 81000d running at 1 ohm, daily...

What do you think the 1000d could push out @ 1 ohm with a stock charging system?...

depends on what your ALT amperage rating is at plus it also depends on voltage drop due to wiring sizes and fusing... it depends on a lot of things, u would neeed to tell us all the info possible, including what you battery's voltage is rated at idle and when the car is on...
