simple question

i have 2 8 ohm 15inch subwoofers(kickers) and i run a mtx 250d to each subwoofer

the amps are rated at 125 @4 ohms and 250@2 ohms what can i do to make them power the subwoofers correctly

those amps do way more than 250rms... If the amps are strapable you coul strap them and wire the 2 subs in parallel to get 4ohms... but i don't know if this can be done with those amps.

They aren't strappable.

rocafella ~ unfortunately the voice coil configuration on those subs just isn't particularly suitable for those amps. You'd likely be better off getting a different amp that does the power that you need @ 4 Ohms (wire both subs in parallel to achieve a 4 Ohm nominal load)

As was said.....those amps just aren't suited to properly power those subs.
