Im down to my final decision. 3 refurb profile audio CL800 amps running at 1 ohm each with each one pushing a 10" L7. Or a PA a3000db with all subs wired to 1.3ohms.

Any suggestions as to what should yield me the best power?

i guess that those l7's are dual 2 and you'll have to put each on a clarus at 4ohm briged or 2ohm per channel but not 1ohm... the clarus are rated 600wrms@4ohm

and the PA3000bd is rated 2300wrms@1ohm and is a little overrated, so you should be gettin the same amount of power.

I would chose the PA because is a class D and probably will draw less current and because is just one amp.

Sorry bout that...Youre correct the profiles will be at 4 ohm I was just in a bit of a hurry.

So overall you think that the PA will give me more of what im looking for when it comes to power. What bothers me is ill be running 1.3 ohm when it supposivly puts out 2300 @ 1 ohm so im unsure how much that .3 will cut power.

What is your budget for an amp?

But out of the two choices, I think the PA would be best...

Budget is 300 for the most part. The cl800's come out to 285+ shipping and the PA is $305 w/ shipping. Im mainly worried about getting something that doesnt do near its rated but from what ive seen the PA's hold up quite well to what theyre rated at. What else is kinda pushing it over for the PA is that its new as compared to the profiles being a refurb.

My other option would be to order 2 hifonics bx605's and wait till next paycheck for the 3rd but im not real interested in getting a hifonics bc of all the bad stuff ive heard about them being overrated.
