simple big three question

ive been looking around and still havent found an answer...so do i add wires or just replace them...in my car...i added them...and some guy said it was wrong...im running about 3k...getting a ho alt and a standard top battery with some kinetiks in the back

dont replace the wires just add to them make new grounds and new runs its better tat way. and if you do replace them then put them larger and better then before

oh im using 1/0 wire...oh and kove is this right

+batt to + on alt

- alt to ground

and whats chassis to engine...im lost at that

i did like -batt to ground

If you can easily just add, why not? All it means if you'll have slightly less resistance and higher current capacity

leave the stock wires. run new wires.

I left the stock wiring and added to it.

I have always just replaced them .... of course I was doing this like 20 years ago

as long as you did the right wires, then it's correct. Leaving the old ones in will not hurt anything

Add to the wire. Current follows the path of least resistance.

you dont have to remove the old ones, i did just because it looks cleaner that way.
