Anyone playing the short game is not having fun but I'm hedging so as long as they want to manipulate metals, I'm buying dip after dip. The hoarders are likely playing the long game so they're not really hurting, just biding their time.Silvers hurting for sure but the gold hoarders are really hurting. Down almost $500 an ounce. Ouch. Personally i need copper back up near $4.
I trade just about all commodities. And they are all down.Anyone playing the short game is not having fun but I'm hedging so as long as they want to manipulate metals, I'm buying dip after dip. The hoarders are likely playing the long game so they're not really hurting, just biding their time.
What are you doing with copper, you trading?
I picked up some silver maple leaves last week. Also lucked out and got a 1963 dime from the bank. Metals are always soft this time of year so it's a nice time to put a few coins in the shoebox and I don't care where "bottom" is. Paper is worthless and I don't plan on selling for a short term pickup....that's what FOREX is for. Personally I like to gamble at a real casino. You know they can make good on your bet if you actually win and at least they comp your meals and hotel when you lose your arse.Spot price on silver. Just wondering how many stackers we have on the boards.
I looked into the FOREX thing but I just didn't have the time to devote to it. I'm really just trying not to lose my ass if/when everything falls apart, and most of that planning has gone into metals. Been working on food stores and ammo this year. Hard to tell how long the state of things will last without a system in place.I picked up some silver maple leaves last week. Also lucked out and got a 1963 dime from the bank. I'm more into banking ammo lately though. Instead of buying a coin or two, grab a couple boxes of a popular size cartridge and tuck that in an airtight place. Money in the bank and more fun to take out and use if you want to burn it up.
What you need to know about trading on FOREX or Chicago Exchange is that the game is rigged and even if you do win big there's a good chance you won't get paid. Really dangerous gambling. I'd never buy any commodity of which I wasn't taking physical possession.
how about the guy that threw a hardrive full of bitcoins worth 7.5m in the trash by accident.anyone know bitcoins?
They were at ~6 each a year or so ago, 100 a couple months ago, 1000 now.
It wouldn't, but they are a good but risky short-mid term investment. I'll probably spend a hundred bucks on them sometime soon. Could realistically turn into $2,000 within a year or two... worst case scenario I'm out a hundred bucks.I was thinking the 'wallet' existed like a cloud, somehwere else on a remote server. I guess that wouldn't make sense, though.
I like the idea of Bitcoin, just not sure how it will fare in a collapse situation.
