Silver Flute anyone?

i was talking to someone on here who runs them IB and he says they are amazing , he's sending double the rated power to them with no problems and he says they really sing. I'm getting a pair for my buick soon.
think im gonna do the same and try out a pair, not really a big loss if im not happy with them as far as price.

I think you really need to seal and dampen your door well. I think these will sound good, but that is a low q. I know some guy on here runs them and said the are really a cheap sq mid.

I run them. I have an Audiosn LRx5.1k chs 3 & 4 powering them, which is set to 150 watts per side. I don't, however, run mine IB, mine are in sealed pods ~.15cf and yes they are amazing. I love them and at $40 shipped per, you can't go wrong. Me personally, I'd put them up against my friends HAT L6's. They're that comparative. I'm now in the hunt for some grills for them. They play way low for a driver of that size and go up pretty high w/o any cone brake up. I have mine X'ed over at 50 Hz @12dB/Oct HP and 4k Hz @12dB/Oct LP.

this is all i needed to hear, my set will be delivered tomorrow, ill post a review

Ive got a pair of Silver Flutes running with VIfa NE25VTS tweets and i've been very pleased with the results so far. For the price you really can't go wrong. I mounted mine straight into the door panel but i honestly think they would be much happier in a sealed enclosure.
