I gotta ask, HOW?

lol, well i have this stud that goes into the side mount of my battery and there is a screw that screws in it where i put my power cable on it. well you need a wrench and ratchet to tighten it. so i decided not to disconnect my battery while tightening. i ended up dropping the ratchet while it was connect to the battery it hit the aluminum a/c lines, sparked and zapped a hole in the line and all my refridgerant leaked out. it was the middle of july too so i was pissed.

just wanted to make a quick suggestion. i wouldnt remomen saudering. i am in aerospace engineering and the Maximum temp a soder of magnestunsite is 789. thats the maximum so if ever that one gauge wire draws close to peak it igets hot. it would only be a matter of time befoe it failed. also soder is subject to weathering and corrosion. from wahtaver brand car u have, u can go to an authorized dealer and order extension bolts of gold adn platinum..at least gm anyways.

Solder also adds resistance...keep that in mind.

Not trying to start a flame war but doesn't aerospace engineering = college= english/grammer classes?? I'm having troble understanding what your writing.

789 what? (degree, celcius, ferihn?) That seems pretty hot to me, unless its in some other format I don't know.
