Sierra on 26's rebuild.. 4 alts what?!?

what kind of alts are those? i think i see dc power?... i see an HID ballast though. =D

Nice but hopefully thats not where the ballast is actually mounted. Xentec huh? Had any problems, I've heard nothing but from them.

just running wires. run alot of power wires. got all my bolts in the box for external wiring of ohm loads and run all of my speaker wire to the bed. Really just need to mount the amps subs and batts and hook them together. Supposed to be cold as **** this whole week...

I got them mounted on the inside of the fender. They are good. I mean you get what you pay for. like 65 bucks for the set. I had one go out after a year and it turned out the bulb was good so i just changed out the ballast and it was good. i just bought an extra set of them so i still got one left if the other goes bad. i get flashed alot people think i have my brights on.. of course that could be my bed sagging pointing my lights in peoples face.. lol. i need to jack it up and adjust my shackles. I got it on the top one and i need to move it to the bottom one and bring the back up a hair

Alright.. still a little snow on the ground but its warming up so time to get some work done inbetween class. Put some black carpet down on allt he rails the amps will be mounted so there is no metal on metal and used self tapping screws and rubber washers to keep the amps clean. Almost got all my amps fit up.. Got to drill some holes in the diamondplate to run wires and need to get a battery rack built so i can really get nasty with the wiring but this is where we are at right now. Got a show march 5th i need to be ready for so hopefully by then we will be getting a vid or something.. going to get it bumping by then but it wont be show worthy till mid march probably...

so with the limit on air space inside the cab you are going to cut into the bed right? 4 270 amp alts would be a waste with such a small amoutn of space.

haha.. no man it just taking time.. for one we got like 24" of snow in a week and weather has been hit or miss. have been some nice days but im in an apartment complex in the city. All my tools that are of any use are at my parents house 3 hours away. I got my face plate sanded downa nd ready to paint but where can i paint? lol. my alt rack needs a little trimming so the belts line up just right and i dont have a grinder here so there is no point in running my power wires yet although i do have them all cut and ready to go. I cant run amps to batts yeat because i just got a sponsorship from xs so im waiting on those to come in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif . going to be sweet. so i just got a few small hangups that i can fix in one weekend i just need the time to get home. my wife just started a new job and im not froggy enough to make the 3 hour drive home and stay the night and 3 hour drive back with my 2 year iold.. lol. good luck at getting anything done. I have got all of my speaker wires run fromt he amps and what not just didnt want to post 1 pic, lol, was going to wait till i got more done. This thing will be 100% completed one way or the other by april 17. we got IFO in okc and its state records even and i will be ready. just alot of **** been coming up lately holding me back... classes have been hard too. organic chemistry

nope.. box is not real small. plus a box being undershized a hair will help control the subs a little better. The box is a hair over 20 cubes after displacement, was over 22 before
