side post to top post connectors

So i need my kenitek to be a top post. The guy at the auto part store told me that they dont make such a thing. I bought the side post things that screw into the battery that make it a top post for charging. But he said they would end up melting my battery terminals. Anyone know where i can get some actualy side post to top post connectors?

i've never heard of it "melting" batteries. I use SVR batts in my back and it comes with "studs" and with it they sent me some post adaptors and i've had no problems.

yea i got some studs that came with my batcap but the hole on them isnt big enough for a bolt that would fit the kenitik

Just get a strip of copper or other conductive material, put a 90* bend in it, bolt it to the side post. Find a piece of metal solid stock that is the proper width, attach it on top. Ghetto, but it gets the job done.

Not sure what you're trying to accomplish, but it you're trying to get past the lack of room to connect power wires...

I have some top post battery terminals that all my 0 gauges and stock wires connect to. They are tsunami terminals. I just got a kenitik 2400 and its side post. I need the things that screw into the side post to make it top post. i know they make them i just cant find them...

autozone by me has em, no they wont make ur battery melt either

yea i got some. but they are the ones with the tabs on the side that are used for charging the side post batteries. i actually found some of what im looking for.
