side-post terminals

long time lurker around here and i finally came up with something that i couldnt find by searching. anyway, i am beginning the process of installing the system that i had to tear out of my old civic into my recently acquired 1999 saturn sl1 (with upgrades of course //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif ). as anxious as i am, waiting on the wiring harness and dash kit for my HU still, i decided this morning that i would start upgrading the big three. i was quite dissapointed to discover the **** side post gm battery terminals, as i have a pair of the knu aftermarket terminals that i had in my civic.

my question lies here: in order to avois scrapping the knu terminals, which i like very much, does anyone know if it's possible to purchase screw in posts, as in the type generally found on top-mount batteries, that my knu terminals could fit over, and where to find them?

converters should be at wal=mart.? If not you migh have to buy a new batt?

i will check wal-mart for converters. as for replacement side terminal mounts, id rather use the pounts that i have now, but i may have no other option (other than a new battery...)

What battery? My optima has both so I bough cheap-o top post terminals for big 3 wiring and left everything else on side post

i decided to check kmart the other day when i was picking my brother up from work. decided id give it a shot and, sure enough, there they were--two big nubs that screwed seemlessly into side terminal locations on my battery. im doin the big three upgrade right now.
