5-Minute Epoxy from Wal-Mart works well on speaker repairs. You could do the re-cone yourself or send it in and have Nick do it, although, it would be cheaper to do it yourself.

CA glue works much better than the epoxy, easier to work with anyways

My idmax 12 voice coil looks the same way as does the inside of the VC former. and yes im running a sundown saz-1500d. my voltage drops to no lower than 13.8 volts. the amp is wired to 2 ohm which the amp puts out 800 watts. but according to benchtests it makes closer to 1000 watts. My idmax smelled really bad there for a while but not anymore. so the sundowns make more power than rated so be careful with it.
