Si BM's -- Low end monsters?

What sort of car? That is a big question.

You can easily hit 140 dB with two BM 12s and 1200 watts in a hatch or an SUV. A trunk might present a problem depending on what car it is.

I would classify the BM as an "SQL" sub... as much as that term is overused. They excel ported and maintain accuracy very well in that alignment. You will get lots of low-end in a low-tuned ported box, thats for sure... they will also sound incredibly good as is the case with anything SI makes.

it will be in a 97 monte carlo. HUGE trunk. seats fold down. approx 32hz tuned. maybe? not sure.. what would you recommend it be tuned to? and what is SQL? is it in between SQ and SPL? like a mix of both

"SQL" is a compromise at best, a delusion at worst...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

When I heard one, I thought it had a great low end, definitely wasn't lacking.

alright then im happy with my purchase. i got a **** good deal on them, theyre brand new too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
