trying to think of a way to build housing for my battery. I was thinking of cutting out a big piece of plywood that will fit in the back.. build some kind of 4 side holder I can put my battery in and keep it from sliding. then mount my amp to this piece of wood. basically just having one single unit with everything on it. all i have to do is put it in the trunk, put the main power and ground on the back battery battery.. and be ready to go. i need some ideas on building a holder for the battery though.

That's good for temporary. I wouldn't do that as a permanent fix though.
really? What I was initially thinking about doing is.. measure out the L & W of the battery and cut 4 pieces of plywood that I can screw each side together and then screw them to the main piece of wood. velcro idea had me thinking though..

i used velcro for my "brain" for my HU. works ok. idk about a heavy *** battery tho

I put velcro on the bottom of my box that the batcap came in and just left it in there.
