Should I run my speakers off of my H/U or my Amp?

Just a quick question. I just picked up two pairs of Alpine SPR-17LP's there 50watts rms per speaker. Here's the problem. Would it be better to run these off of an alpine amp that is 25x4rms or off of my H/U thats an Alpine9805 which is 50x4rms? Thought I would just ask cause I know an amp provides cleaner power than an H/U but since its 25watts difference I thought that the H/U would be better. What's your opinion?

In the auto environment, >10 watts of unclipped power isn't going to cut it. You need an amp to provide enough power to overcome road noise and give you decent dynamic range.
