short rca's??

hi guys.well what type/brand of rca's do you use when you are running short distances, say from the HU to an EQ or amp to amp ? i mean the good quailty rca companys that i have seen only sell 2 meters or longer. except "Y" splitters which you can get short. i need 2 pairs of probably 1-2 feet or less on each rca. the shoter the better, especially behind the dash. i asked about those cheap black buck or 2 audio/video cables that i have seen from time to time in stores, but people say to stay away from them
