Yep I know they are in bizz to make money that's why I said reasonable...if their mark up is 20,30,40% then they have Tons of room...o there is no were you can go to see what a dealer pays for the product though ebay does usually have map pricing. map pricing is the minimum a dealer can sell the item before violating his/her contract. and dont ask for a discount less you are actually gonna drop some serious cash or it more than likely wont happen. shops have to make money to survive. just cause u want something for nothing doesnt mean they can just give it to you and still make a living
Cash is king...Generally most shops will sell no tax if you pay cash... some will some won't.. most get pee'd off when you ask for a discount.. If you think they are over charging then find another shop or buy online
mark up usually isnt as much as you would think. sure they mark it up but like on the sundown sa line there is actually very little to be made. but since the woofers sell you make money by moving volume. kicker cost the dealer almost a much as it cost the customer they usually only mark up 10-12% to stay competitive with other productsYep I know they are in bizz to make money that's why I said reasonable...if their mark up is 20,30,40% then they have Tons of room...
Thanks. I was just throwing out round numbers I don't know if there was any at all just have to ask...mark up usually isnt as much as you would think. sure they mark it up but like on the sundown sa line there is actually very little to be made. but since the woofers sell you make money by moving volume. kicker cost the dealer almost a much as it cost the customer they usually only mark up 10-12% to stay competitive with other products
Lol, for?op should be banned
You should be shopping online then and not bothering shops. It's the only mindset to have, I look for a deal in everything I buy...
I don't bother by wasting time or by being unreasonable...you can catch more flies with honey then you can with vinegar...You should be shopping online then and not bothering shops.
As a customer, the shop earns business through its service. As a business, a customer earns discounts through repeat use and respect.
