I guess with the higher price of oil, shipping companies have really hiked up their rates...

Just quoted a ground shipment from UPS and Fedex, 7lb package 18"x18"x18" from NY to CA for $47 on UPS and $43 for Fedex.

It's been a while since I've shipped anything, but last time I remember sending a similar package in size/weight to CA it was around $15-20.

Absurd.

usps is slower than shit and has horrible tracking.

That is a light box but pretty big size wise. Might want to check dhl, they are usually better on bigger items.

That is really expensive compared to what it used to be. I've been told by some in the shipping industry that consumers and businesses are about to feel the brunt of newer, more expensive shipping rates. It really sucks but these companies need to make money, too.

Mind you, we've always been getting hosed up here.

never had a delay with usps. most of the time it gets there a day or two early.

yea there tracking is a little slow but atleast they take of your stuff an never lose it or break or damage yourt stuff

Yah I've been using UPS for bigger stuff sometimes I use USPS for bigger things, but not very often. God bless flat rate boxes.
