That I can't tell you. Could be a number of things. Nobody can really tell you what happened specifically.

There is a million reasons the coils could have popped... He can't answer that for you

overkill for the next year comin up. didnt wanna buy a level 4xl with 2500 and then get a bigger amp and have to upgrade the sub again

My buddy did it to his MT because he has a tendency to break stuff and clipped the bejesus out of it.

I popped a coil on my 9510 with ~2000 watts. No real explanation.
